The Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Madhya Pradesh, has released the recruitment rules for 23,011 Gram Panchayat Secretary posts

. Selection will be based on a district-wise Eligibility Test conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB)

. Eligible candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, a recognized Computer Diploma, and a valid CPCT scorecard

. A 50% quota is reserved for eligible Gram Rojgar Sahayaks (GRS) with five years of service

Note for GRS: 50% of the total vacant posts are reserved for Gram Rojgar Sahayaks (GRS) who have completed 5 years of continuous service

. Existing GRS appointed before these rules require only a Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification
