Job Details
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the JHTET 2026 notification for candidates who wish to appear in the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test.
Interested applicants can fill out the online form from 21 April 2026 to 21 May 2026.
Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the official JHTET 2026 information brochure carefully. It includes all important details such as eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, syllabus, and information related to both Primary (Class 1–5) and Junior (Class 6–8) levels.

Eligibility Criteria
- 10+2 (Intermediate / Senior Secondary or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / BTC)
- 10+2 (Intermediate / Senior Secondary or equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / BTC) as per NCTE Regulations 2002
- 10+2 (Intermediate / Senior Secondary or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- 10+2 (Intermediate / Senior Secondary or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / BTC)
- Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) and passed or appearing in final year of 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / BTC)
- Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular)
- Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular) as per NCTE norms
- 10+2 (Intermediate / Senior Secondary or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-Year B.El.Ed
- 10+2 (Intermediate / Senior Secondary or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-Year B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed
- Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed (Special Education)
- Master Degree with minimum 55% marks and 3-Year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed Course
