Bihar Police BPSSC SI Pre Result 2025 Released – Check Qualified Candidates List for Mains Exam
The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has officially released the Sub Inspector (SI) Preliminary Exam Result 2025.
According to the official notification, the recruitment is being conducted for 1799 Sub Inspector posts. The preliminary examination was conducted on 18 January 2026 and 21 January 2026 in multiple shifts across the state.
A total of over 10 lakh candidates applied, out of which approximately 7.26 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. However, many candidates were disqualified due to errors in OMR sheets, missing details, or other reasons
After evaluation, the commission has shortlisted candidates for the Main Written Examination based on merit and category-wise cut-off marks. Only candidates who scored minimum qualifying marks (30%) and above cut-off are eligible for the next stage.
As mentioned in the notification (Page 3), around 4,48,899 candidates were considered eligible for selection, and candidates up to 20 times the total vacancies have been shortlisted for the mains exam.
The result PDF contains roll numbers of all qualified candidates, and candidates are advised not to treat it as a final merit list.

Step 2: Go to the “Results” section
Step 3: Click on SI Prelims Result 2025 (Advt. No. 05/2025)
Step 4: Download the result PDF
Step 5: Press Ctrl + F and enter your roll number
Step 6: If your roll number appears, you are qualified for the mains exam
