  • Currently working in State Government-run schools, Local body schools, or Government-aided schools.
  • Special Teachers (CWSN) must have a Bachelor's degree, RCI recognition with D.Ed (Special Education), and active CRR registration.

Upper Primary Level Teachers (Class 6-8)

  • Currently working in State Government-run schools, Local body schools, or Government-aided schools.
  • Special Teachers (CWSN) must have a Bachelor's degree, RCI recognition with B.Ed (Special Education), and active CRR registration.

Background & Necessity

The Supreme Court of India has mandated the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for all working teachers by 31st August, 2028. In response, the Uttar Pradesh Government is conducting a Special TET for currently working teachers to comply with this directive.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Currently working in eligible schools.
  • Must have MHRMS code (for regular teachers).
  • Must have active CRR number (for CWSN teachers).
  • Must comply with all terms and conditions mentioned in notification.

Examination Pattern & Syllabus

The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, with a total of 150 marks. There is no negative marking. The exam will be conducted in Hindi and English, except for language subjects.

    Login with OTR credentials and fill the Common Application Form.
