The Supreme Court of India has mandated the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for all working teachers by 31st August, 2028. In response, the Uttar Pradesh Government is conducting a Special TET for currently working teachers to comply with this directive.
The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, with a total of 150 marks. There is no negative marking. The exam will be conducted in Hindi and English, except for language subjects.
Admit cards will be available on the UPESSC website. Candidates must download and print their admit card before the exam day. No admit card will be sent by post or email.
Reservations are applicable as per UP norms for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, Freedom Fighter Dependents, and Ex-Servicemen. Only UP residents are eligible for reserved category benefits.
